About Communications
The Committee has been closely involved with developing CFA UK's new IT systems and its new online job service, shortly to go live. It has provided advice on introducing HTML emails, on CFA UK's new ecommerce suite and with regard to internet-based surveys of members. It also offers guidance on CFA UK's marketing materials and recognises that public relations is an area where CFA UK needs to seek greater prominence for its views.
Terms of Reference

To review all policy issues relating to communications, proposing any necessary changes to the Board.

To advise the Board on the image that the Society should seek to promote.

To monitor consistency in the promotion of the Society’s image in printed and electronic (including the website and email) materials.

To advise the Board and office on all matters of technology that pertain to the marketing of the Society’s activities to members and the public.

To advise on and assist in the society’s public relations.

To liaise with the Professional Investor editorial board and the Membership and other committees on communication issues.
