Earning the CFA charter is a huge moment in your career. So why not enjoy it? We’ll celebrate your success at one of our charterholder ceremonies. Designed to pay tribute to the achievements of our community, it’s a chance to get rewarded for your hard work. Success is better when shared, so this event brings people together. You can share the moment with fellow charterholders, and you can invite friends and family to join you too
CAN I ATTEND?
You’re eligible to attend a CFA charterholder ceremony if:
- You have passed all three levels of the CFA Program
- You have completed 4,000 hours of relevant work experience in the investment sector
- You have received your certificate within 12 months of the event date
- You have not attended a CFA charterholder ceremony before
To join us at one of our ceremonies, you also need to become a Regular member of CFA UK. When you become a member, you can access this event along with the rest of our programme of seminars, socials and webinars. You’ll also be part of a community of investment professionals who you can connect with over things you care about.

You need to be a CFA UK member to book your place at a charterholder ceremony. If you aren’t a CFA UK member, log in to your CFA Institute account, click on the Membership Tile on your dashboard and apply for Regular membership. Remember to select CFA Society United Kingdom as your society! Add details of your work experience and submit your references to complete the process.

BOOK YOUR PLACE
If you’re already a member, all you need to do is book! You can use your CFA UK portal account to book your place and fill in details for anyone you want to come with you. Just make sure you register for the portal with the same email address as your CFA Institute account, and you’re all set.
To add a guest, select add delegate details, then press save and continue and repeat the process for each guest. Once complete, you’ll receive a confirmation email - if you don’t receive one, contact events@cfauk.org.
