How do I sit the IMC?

Two free-standing units make up the Full IMC qualification:

Unit 1 - UK Regulations and Markets
Unit 2 - Investment Practice

Candidates can chose to sit the Full IMC examination in one sitting, or as two separate units. Candidates holding an equivalent qualification to one of the two units can refer to the Society's incoming exemptions policy.

Candidates applying for Approved Person Status or requiring necessary qualifications for their firm may find that they already hold an equivalent qualification to one or both units of the IMC. Read the Society's exemptions policy.
