Who can sit the IMC?

Anyone can sit the IMC!

There are no entry requirements, although it does involve a commitment to study and some mathematical ability. See the syllabus for an understanding of the level and content.

The exam is open to all individuals both inside and outside the financial services industry.

Many companies and individuals find that the IMC's wide-ranging syllabus provides an excellent introduction to investment management for those working in the industry in related areas, such as:
The IMC is also an ideal first-step for candidates considering embarking on the CFA Program.
