Deepak Maharaj, Managing Director at JPMorgan

Deepak Maharaj is a Managing Director and head of the Equities and Cross Asset Product development in the Strategic Index Group at J.P. Morgan. Deepak’s primary responsibility is the cross-asset risk premia and stock-based product offering at J.P. Morgan, as part of the wider Strategic Indices business. Deepak joined J.P. Morgan in July 2006 and has since focused on derivative based solutions, including Indices throughout his career. Deepak holds a Master's degree in mathematics from Cambridge University.

 

Anna-Helena Mihov, Quantitative Portfolio Engineer

Anna-Helena Mihov is a senior quantitative researcher at DWS in London. She has been conducting quantitative research for the enhancement of systemic strategies for over six years. Her work extends to the application of AI across the investment division. She received her Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and Economics from the Humboldt University of Berlin and her Masters in Financial Analysis from the London Business School. In addition, she is currently a part-time PhD candidate at University College London in the Department of Computer Science with a specialisation in Augmented Financial Intelligence. Her research focuses on the application of AI models and natural language processing techniques for the analysis of financial markets.

Marina Antoniou, Executive Board Member AI

 Marina Antoniou specializes in risk management and innovation, focusing on Artificial Intelligence (AI) and digital transformation. With extensive experience in global capital markets, she addresses non-financial risks such as conduct risk, rogue trading, fraud, financial crime, and trade and communications surveillance. Marina also deals with risks and controls related to AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), and data privacy. She has held executive and board positions at various institutions and participated in global forums on capital markets and innovation. Marina has worked closely with regulators worldwide, serving as lead validator on regulatory conduct risk programs for top-tier banks, She was the Global Head of Global Markets Risk & Control Assessment at BNP Paribas and the Head of Audit for Citigroup in multiple countries, earning a Global recognition award. Passionate about technology, Marina focuses on digital transformation and innovation in risk management using data analytics, LLMs, and AI. She is involved with the ICAEW Financial Services Faculty Board, the ICAEW Digital Assets Steering Group, and the Hellenic Tech Network.Marina is also a Warwick University Ambassador and an Executive Committee Member of the Warwick Finance Professional Network. She frequently speaks at global conferences and contributes to industry journals on topics like conduct risk, digital transformation, digital assets, AI, FinTech, and ESG.
