Paul Abberley is the Chief Executive of the Charles Stanley Group, one of the oldest wealth managers listed on the LSE with over £24 billion in assets under management. Prior to joining Charles Stanley as Chief Investment Officer, Paul was CEO and Head of Investments at Aviva Investors. He has also served as Chairman and CEO at Fischer Francis Trees & Watts UK Limited, and Head of Fixed Income at ABN Amro Asset Management.
Paul brings a unique perspective across both institutional asset management and private wealth management and has built an exceptional reputation with the market for both the breadth and depth of his strategic insights into the financial services industry in the UK. One of the brightest and most likeable investment leaders in the sector, he has proven particularly successful at assembling and building teams that deliver on their promise of genuinely uncorrelated investment performance, asset growth and customer value.
Paul is a graduate of Keble College, Oxford and holds an MA in philosophy, politics and economics.
