The Merge  by Pak was sold for $91.8 million in December 2021. The first Tweet from Jack Dorsey was sold for $2.9 million. At NBA Top Shot, a blockchain-based trading card system, LeBron James’ card was sold for $230,000.

There are now 1000 NFT sales daily compared with 100 transactions per week five years ago. In January 2022 alone, $5 billion worth of NFTs changed hands. NFTs, or non-fungible tokens have firmly put a footprint in the digital asset space.

This emerging digital asset has attracted money, technology and some of the brightest minds. However, on the flip side, about half of NFTs sold for more than $200 on Opensea which is one of the most recognised in the NFT market place. The NFT introduced by one of the biggest game publishers Ubisoft only made $400 in total. It is a highly speculative space and 95% of investors lose money.

A seasoned investor and serial entrepreneur in the tech start up space. Michele’s background combines technical and business expertise, this allows him to apply his rational and structured thinking to tackle and solve complex business problems.

In 2013, Michele started Ympact, a non-profit organisation that reports about startups ecosystems by producing free documentaries available on YouTube. So far Ympact covered 6 major European cities (London, Paris, Berlin, Barcelona, Helsinki, Milan) and silicon valley reaching over 3M viewers.

Since 2014 Michele has worked with tech entrepreneurs, helping them to bring their business off the ground and expand internationally. He helps corporate executives to understand new technologies and their impact on the overall corporate digital strategy. In 2020 Michele co-founded Superfluid, an innovative blockchain protocol that enables real-time assets transfer via ongoing streams of value - an entirely novel financial primitive, bringing networked cashflows to existence.
