Philipp Ruf, Head of Research & Analytics, SparkChange

Philipp Ruf is a carbon markets professional with long-term experience in analysing energy commodity markets (carbon, electricity, gas, LNG). For most of his career he worked at a market information provider leading the 40+ strong global energy analytics team.

Prior to that, Philipp supported energy intensive industry, traders, financials, and governments to understand carbon and wider energy markets to predict future price dynamics.

Philipp was invited to speak in the European Parliament as an expert on the European Emissions Trading Scheme.

In his current role, Philipp leads the analytics and data team at SparkChange. Together with his team Philipp advises on carbon market developments.
