Wednesday webinar at one: The IASB agenda consultation

Wednesday 01 September 2021 | 13:00 - 13:40 | Webinar

In March 2021, the International Accounting Standards Board (IASB or the Board) published the request for information for the IASB’s third agenda consultation. In this consultation, the IASB is seeking stakeholders' perspectives and feedback on what the board’s priorities should be over the next five years. This webinar is an opportunity for CFA UK members and investors to shape the work of the IASB, and ultimately influence the financial statements of companies that report under IFRS standards.

In this webinar, Nick Anderson, member of the IASB, will provide an introduction to the three key elements of this consultation:

  • Strategic direction and balance of the IASB’s activities
  • Financial issues to prioritise and the criteria for adding project’s to the IASB’s work plan
  • How investors can engage with the Board in providing feedback to this consultation
Where recordings are made, these are a member benefit that are accessed through the member-only platform, CFA UK Discover.
