Katerina Kosmopoulou, CFA, a founding member of the CFA UK Inclusion and Diversity Network, talks to Matthew Cameron, MD of LGBT Great, about the importance of LGBT role models and allies.
This podcast focuses on the development and implementation of LGBT inclusion and diversity specifically within the investment and savings industry. Matthew tells us why it is fundamental for the sector to support and promote LGBT talent as he underpins where we currently stand in terms of LGBT inclusion, what it means to be a role model and how we can take proactive steps to support workplace inclusion.
In addition, he highlights specific diversity challenges in the industry, explains the 2018 Global Study, a research carried out by LGBT Capital which examined the lives experiences of LGBT people at work, and tells us about the five barriers to LBGT inclusion in the investment sector.
