Annual Forecasting 2024

Wednesday 17 January 2024 | 18:15 - 20:30 | Evening Event

While 2023 proved to be less challenging than the previous year for markets; we have seen devastating continued regional conflict, significantly complicating the global geopolitical landscape. Inflation is still rife but exhibiting signs of receding, though varying around the world.

2024 is a big year of change with general elections in the US and UK, which compounds the uncertainty. But what do you think?

Is the road rocky, but ultimately, we will prevail; or are we in for a horrible shock?

Share your thoughts with us at our flagship Annual Forecasting event. This year’s distinguished guests who will guide the conversation include Janet Mui, Head of Market Analysis at Brewin Dolphin, and Edward Smith, Co-Chief Investment Officer at Rathbones.

But thoughts and discussions are not enough, we’re taking it one step further - you will be entrusted with the task of devising a UK-exclusive portfolio in small groups, and you’ll then present your 2024 predictions to your peers.

This is your moment to candidly demonstrate your outlook for 2024 and gauge the room’s sentiment. Chatham House Rules goes without saying, so express yourself freely!

After you’ve battled it out, continue the conversation over drinks to build out your network. You never know they may provide valuable support in what could potentially be a challenging year ahead.
