Impact investing - The dimensions of impact

Thursday 03 November 2022 | 17:00 - 18:00 | Webinar

 This session has been organised by CFA UK's Impact Investing special interest group.

Innovation in the world of impact investing has catapulted it from the philanthropic fringe to mainstream markets. But the industry remains dogged by the same questions: How is impact defined, what benchmark should be used, and is ESG important?

We take a dive into the dimensions of impact with Beth Houghton, Partner & Head of Impact Fund at Palatine Private Equity, to explore:

  • How they consider impact alongside returns;
  • The challenges they face in accessing and reporting the right information; and
  • Whether they think good ESG credentials are important to impact investing.
