Wednesday webinar at one: Investment opportunities in the transition to net zero

Wednesday 16 June 2021 | 13:00 - 13:40 | Webinar

This event has been organised by CFA UK's Energy Finance special interest group.

The energy transition began in the power sector with renewables, initially driven by government incentives. This sector is increasingly mature, exhibiting growing commercial sophistication and attracting investment from a widening range of sources.

Government commitments to achieving net zero and growing consumer concern in climate change in recent years, is now shifting the spotlight to other sectors of the economy. This includes mobility, industry, buildings and agriculture, all of which need innovation and capital in order to transition.

In this webinar, Jim Totty, CFA, will survey the scene and identify opportunities for investors as the journey to net zero broadens its scope and picks up pace.

Where recordings are made, these are a member benefit that are accessed through the member-only platform, CFA UK Discover.
