The most successful investment professionals are people who think differently about their day-to-day and find creative solutions to forever problems. The exchange puts the bright, the bold and the influential in a room quarterly, to share exclusive intel on topics that you really care about. We don't stop there, the room is full of portfolio managers, wealth managers and consultants and many more, so it's the perfect opportunity to continue building your black book of curious investors.

Our first session in this new series asks the question: In a world where AI is reshaping every corner of finance, how do human biases and robo-advisors interact—and what does it mean for portfolio performance?

Join us for an engaging in-person event featuring Marie Brière,  Head of Investor Intelligence and Academic Partnerships at the Amundi Investment Institute, and globally respected thought leader in behavioural finance and fintech.

Her research directly informs asset allocation decisions across Europe and is regularly featured in top-tier outlets like the Financial Times and Wall Street Journal.

Marie will unveil key themes and findings from her latest research, "Human-Robot Interactions in Investment Decisions." Drawing on research into Employee Saving Plans, she will explore how cognitive biases influence investor behaviour—and how robo-advisors are helping reshape the investment landscape.

Key Insights You’ll Gain:

  • How cognitive biases can distort investment decisions—and their impact on portfolio performance.
  • A unique robo-advisory model that suggests (but doesn’t enforce) rebalancing strategies, giving investors the freedom to choose.
  • How robo-advice boosts investor engagement, risk-taking, and returns—delivering an average +2% annual return uplift.
  • The power of robo-alerts: a 29% increase in rebalancing activity, even without automation.
  • Why the financial cost of investor autonomy remains low—even during market downturns.
