In a period of heightened market volatility, regulatory change and geopolitical uncertainty, investors are under increasing pressure to make well-informed decisions about sustainable and ESG-labelled products. At the same time, concerns around greenwashing and inconsistent disclosures continue to undermine confidence.

As markets, regulation and sustainability expectations continue to evolve, investors need reliable ways to assess the credibility of sustainable investment funds.

Join CFA UK’s Sustainability Community’s webinar with Daan van der Wekke, Head of Sustainability,BSI(The British Standards Institution) and Julia DreblowVice Chair, Advisers’ Sustainability Group (ASG)for a practical discussion on PAS 7342:2025, the newly published British standard designed to bring greater clarity, consistency and trust to sustainable funds without adding unnecessary complexity.

In this webinar, we will explore why PAS 7342 has emerged at a critical moment for sustainable finance, how it complements existing regulation such as the FCA’s Sustainability Disclosure Requirements (SDR), and what it means in practice for fund managers, portfolio managers and advisers.

The session will focus on how clear standards can help investors navigate complexity, assess credibility, and make better decisions in an increasingly uncertain investment landscape.

What you’ll learn:

  • Why globally recognised standards are becoming essential market infrastructure in times of uncertainty
  • What PAS 7342:2025covers  and what it deliberately does now
  • How the standard supports credible sustainable fund designgovernance and ongoing monitoring
  • How PAS 7342 aligns with and complements regulation, including FCA SDR
  • How clearer standards can reduce greenwashing risk and improve investor confidence
  • What PAS 7342 means in practice for fund managers, portfolio managers, wealth managers and advisers

This session is designed for fund managers, portfolio managers, advisers and ESG professionals.

Timing:

17:00 - 18:00
