Join Oliver Sherman, Co-Chair of VISIG (Value Investing Special Interest Group), as he shares lessons and insights from his 20-year investment journey. With an impressive compound annual growth rate of 18%, Oliver’s returns have been generated from a diverse mix of value, growth, and ‘special’ situations.

He will share his views on the art of value investing, including the unique advantages individual investors have over professionals, and touch on the challenges of managing personal finances whilst pursuing a career. Whether you're an aspiring investor or a seasoned pro, Oliver's insights and advice will be relevant to anyone looking to significantly outperform the market over time.

We will be meeting at the Argyle pub from 18:30, with the talk starting at 19:00 with an opportunity for networking afterwards.

Oliver Sherman

Oliver has worked as an Equity Analyst covering Pan European stocks for a Family Office, Hedge Fund and Stock Broker. He has also gained insights into the inner workings of businesses and government through roles as an auditor and civil servant. Oliver currently works at NatWest Bank, as a Manager in their Investor Relations team.
