Wednesday 15 November 2023 | 13:00 - 13:40 | Webinar

This event has been organised by CFA UK's Investment Practice Skills & Knowledge Working group

The rise of private credit in the financial industry can be attributed to several factors, including rising interest rates, banks tightening their lending conditions, and investors' quest for higher yields.

In this webinar, you’ll gain practical insight into alternative credit and private investment strategies, which can be a powerful complement to traditional fixed income strategies, offering return enhancement and diversification.

The webinar will discuss:

  • The fundamentals of private credit and how it fits in a ‘traditional’ portfolio
  • Why this asset class has grown so significantly and taken the spotlight
  • The opportunities and key considerations of private credit investing.
