Wednesday webinar at one: Future state of the investment industry: Diverging worlds and digital transformation

Wednesday 21 February 2024 | 13:00 - 13:40 | Webinar

Join Rhodri Preece, CFA, Senior Head of Research at CFA Institute and Ryan Munson, Research Manager, CFA Institute for a webinar where they delve into the repercussions of deglobalisation, demographics, and geopolitics on the industry.

Deglobalisation, geopolitical conflicts, inequality, demographic disruptions, and technological innovation collectively contribute to the emergence of distinct and divided perspectives as targeted content and personalisation create alternate realities. While rapid technological innovation in the form of artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning, and big data, among other applications, leads to accelerating change in the investment industry.

Rhodri and Ryan will analyse:

  • How society is adapting to the accelerated rate of innovation.
  • The collaborative dynamics between artificial intelligence (AI).
  • The human intelligence in addressing our most pressing challenges.

This event is one of three that explores CFA Institute’s report, Future State of the Investment Industry. CFA Institute surveyed its members and consulted with experts to see how they expect the investment industry and profession to evolve over the next five to ten years, and what they are doing to prepare for that evolution.

The report identifies four key scenarios:  Diverging WorldsSustainable FinanceDigital Transformation, and The End of Cheap Money. Join us for a webinar with expert speakers who will focus on diverging worlds and digital transformation.
