From 30 April 2026, the CFA UK Level 4 Certificate in Climate & Investing is no longer available.

CFA UK continues to believe that a robust foundational program in Climate and Investing holds tangible value for investment professionals. However, the way investment firms are addressing the risks and opportunities presented by climate change is changing. Regulators are refining their approach and the approach learners favour is evolving, most notably with the growth in shorter form micro-credentialling.  As a result, we will no longer offer the Certificate in Climate & Investing in its current form. 

However, we are reviewing the development of separate educational products and resources to support upskilling in the field of investments and climate.

We are actively considering several options and reaching out to key stakeholders to gather their feedback.

What this means for Certificate in Climate & Investing graduates

CFA UK is very proud of the Certificate in Climate & Investing and we will continue to recognise the success of everyone who has completed this robust, Ofqual regulated qualification, demonstrating extensive knowledge and skills in a rapidly evolving space. Details of the qualification will remain on our website and your digital badge will also remain in place.
