Delivering your new digital content hub
Introducing our new direction for Professional Investor, marking a new milestone in the history of our publication.
We have now taken Professional Investor the next step to bring you a new digital content hub. Bringing you articles and blogs to inspire and collaborate with you in an up-to-date way. Retaining Professional Investor's authority - whilst growing our distribution across digital and social channels, provides us with a place to share with you latest ideas, thinking and insights created and curated by our editorial team at CFA UK and contributions from across our community of volunteers and members.
“It is very exciting to see the relaunched Professional Investor site. When I look around the train carriage on my commute into work, it's very clear how important it is to have a portal that's mobile responsive.” Jean-Paul Carbonnier, CFA, Director at CarboKinetic and member of the CFA UK Editorial and Content working group.
Moving from print
CFA UK’s membership magazine was launched in 1961 and was first called The Investment Analyst, this ran from 1961 – 1989 with the magazine being renamed in 1989 to Professional Investor.
Written by the senior practitioners, thought-leaders and academics each edition of the magazine revolved around a theme. Topics included diversity, rethinking finance, the search for value, returns, and what next for efficient markets? Every edition also featured interviews with thought-leaders from the profession, roundtable discussions with leading professionals and academics about topical issues, information regarding recent research papers from the UK’s top business schools and book reviews by society members.
You can browse all previous issues as searchable PDF of both Professional Investor and The Investment Analyst via our digital archive. We will also be publishing ‘From the Archives’ regularly taking a look back at how the profession has evolved and what we can learn from the past.
Become a contributor
We are encouraging contributions from the membership to sit alongside the regular Professional Investor content. This will allow you to contribute original articles or compelling perspectives to provoke debate and an exchange of ideas among serious investment practitioners about topics of the day.
