THE RIGHT QUESTIONS

Our specimen paper helps you understand the types of questions that the Certificate in Climate & Investing will ask you. The six types of questions you’ll encounter are: 

  • Standard multiple-choice questions – select one answer from four options. 
  • Multiple-response, multiple-choice questions – select two answers from four options. 
  • Gap fill questions – Enter an answer into the field provided. 
  • Drag and drop questions – Drag and drop the selected response into the correct field. 
  • Short item set questions – You’ll get 3 questions based on a short scenario. The material in the case study doesn’t change with the questions. 
  • Long item set questions – You’ll get 5 questions based on a longer scenario. The material in the case study doesn’t change with the questions. 

PASSING THE TEST

The pass mark for the Certificate in Climate & Investing usually stays between 60%– 70%. The mock exam is only a guide, so it’s best to aim to achieve 70% or more when taking this test. 

Important: candidates are not permitted to use a handheld calculator during the examination.  The onscreen calculator will be available for all questions during the exam.  Please see CFA UK’s Calculator Policy for further information.
