Overview of the Certificate in ESG Investing Specimen Exam Paper

The Certificate in ESG Investing exam contains a large number of learning outcomes.

The objective of the specimen exam paper is to provide guidance on the structure of the exam and the way in which questions are positioned and asked.

They specimen exam paper should NOT be viewed as a primary source of learning. By its nature, a specimen exam paper will only cover proportion of the learning outcomes.

Candidates are strongly advised to develop a fundamental understanding of the curriculum in order to demonstrate the competence required to pass the examination.

Exam Format

  • Pass mark: the pass mark of the Certificate in ESG Investing exam is still to be determined following analysis of the pilot exam results and feedback.  However, it is anticipated that the pass mark will likely fall between 60% and 70%.
  • Types of exam questions:

o Standard multiple choice – Candidates select 1 option of 4.

 

o Short item set – Candidates are given a short scenario with 4 questions.

 

   The material given in the case study does not change with the questions.

 

o Long item set – Candidates are given a long scenario with 5 questions.

 

   The material in the case study does not change with the questions.

 

  • Calculator: a calculator is not required for the Certificate in ESG Investing exam.
