CFA UK Portal FAQs

How do I log in?

Click Login in the navigation bar on the CFA UK website.

Before logging for the first time, you’ll need to register an account with us.

To register for an account: 

  • Go to the ‘Login’ page on the CFA UK website and click on ‘Haven't got an account? Register with us
  • You’ll need to enter an email address – please take note of the guidance below. To ensure we match your membership in our systems and grant you access to your exclusive member benefits:
    • Regular and Affiliate members with CFA Institute should register with the same email address as the one you use to access your CFA Institute account.
    • Local members: You will already have an account that you use to apply and renew your membership. So, you can proceed to Login
  • Create a password and submit the registration form
  • Check your inbox for your activation email and activate your account
  • Log in to the CFA UK Portal to book on to events, access professional learning content, join Special Interest Groups, networks and communities and see your membership information.  

I'm a Regular/Affiliate member of CFA Institute and registered on the CFA UK website with a different email address.

Email us at support@cfauk.org with the email address associated with your CFA Institute account and the different email address you registered on our website with.

For security reasons please also provide two of the following pieces of information: Full name, Date of Birth, First line of address and postcode and a staff member will reset your account. We will endeavour to resolve your enquiry within one business day, however if additional security checks are required it may take a little longer.

 

Where can I find my CFA UK ID/membership number?

Your CFA UK ID is your CFA UK membership number and allows you to access events at the member discounted rate. It also will help to identify you in future correspondence. 

  • Login to the CFA UK Portal
  • Click your initials in the top right-hand corner of the screen to view your account
  • Click My Membership in the left-hand menu
  • You’ll be able to see your active membership and your CFA UK ID which is your membership number

 

Current members will see that your membership number has got a little longer and is now 9 digits. This is your prior 5-digit member number preceded with “UK00”. 

 

I have signed up to the CFA UK website but my membership record isn't appearing, what do I do next?

Did you register with the email address linked to your membership record?

Regular and Affiliate members with CFA Institute should register with the same email address as the one you use to access your CFA Institute account. 

Local members: You will already have an account that you use to apply and renew your membership. So, you can proceed to Login

Email us at support@cfauk.org with the email address you registered on the CFA UK website with.

For security reasons please also provide two of the following pieces of information: Full name, Date of Birth, First line of address and postcode and a staff member will investigate and get back to you.

 

My account is locked, what do I do next? 

Drop us an email at support@cfauk.org with the email address of the locked account and we will be able to assist you. We will endeavour to resolve your enquiry within two business days, however if additional security checks are required it may take a little longer.
