Communicate like a leader: How to look, sound and speak like a leader

Tuesday 16 July 2024 | 17:00 - 18:00 | Webinar

This webinar is part of CFA UK’s Next-level communication skills pathway

Do you communicate like a leader or do you communicate more like a follower?

Remarkable leaders are easily distinguished. Their presence commands attention as soon as they enter a room. Whether observed in meetings or engaged in conversations with colleagues, their leadership qualities are unmistakable.

Martyn Barmby, MSB Executive, will focus on the qualities that communicate our status, from the moment we walk into a room through to the words we use, and how we say them.

He will look at:

  • The physical signals that indicate our leadership status
  • The vocal qualities that make people want to listen to what we have to say
  • The words we should choose if we want people to see us as leaders.
