CFA UK is dedicated to improving your online experience and has been working on new developments to our websites and systems. Over the coming weeks and months, CFA UK will start delivering these improvements in a phased approach, to ensure that maximum benefit is given with minimal disruption and inconvenience.

What can I expect?

New centralised member portal

From 30 March, you will have access to CFA UK’s new online member portal, CFA UK Portal. You will easily be able to log on and access this on our website. In the portal you can view your membership details, book on to events at the member rate, and see a list of all your event bookings.

Your membership and contact details are just a click away - Once logged in, you will be able to securely view your active membership and the contact information held on your member record. CFA UK local members will be able to update their details easily within the portal. If you are a Regular or Affiliate member with CFA Institute, or a candidate studying the CFA Program, you will be able to view your contact details, but you must continue to make any updates via your CFA Institute account - as this is where the information is held.

Quickly and easily book on to events - Simply book on to events without leaving the CFA UK website. Plus, once logged in, the website will recognise active memberships linked to a CFA UK account and automatically apply exclusive member rates to event bookings. So, no more need to input your membership number every time you want to book on to an event.

Book event places for you and others - Planning to attend a CFA UK event with a friend or colleague? You will now be able to book places for them at the same time as booking a place for yourself.

View your event bookings - Within the CFA UK Portal you can view a list of your event bookings, even if you were booked on to an event by a colleague. Events booked on CFA UK Connect will only be visible in CFA UK Connect.

Apply for Local Membership, CFA Society UK - Non-members will be able to apply for Local Membership, CFA Society UK when logged in to their CFA UK account.

See below for more details on what is to come in future phases.

What actions do I need to take?

To access the CFA UK Portal, you will need to register for an account on our website.

Keep an eye on your inbox, as we will send you an email confirming the launch of the new member portal and provide instructions on how to register for an account.

If you are a CFA Institute member or are enrolled in the CFA Program, make sure you register with the same email address as the one you use to access your CFA Institute account. This is so we can match your membership in our systems, and make sure you have access to your member-exclusive benefits.

What is the timeline for developments?

  • Log in to your member account to view your membership and contact details
